Mel is a mum of 2 kids and shares her expertise as a midwife and fertility nurse working at Tamar Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Mel completed her Nursing degree in UTAS and pursued her Midwifery diploma in Queensland where she worked for 5 years. In addition to Tasmania and Queensland, Mel has also worked in Western Australia.
Mel has a passion in caring for couples with infertility and looking after families during pregnancy and beyond.
Mel's expertise as a fertility nurse in invaluable to the practice liaising between our clients and doctors in their quest to acheive a pregnancy. Her dedication in the time spent with pregnant couples is often regarded as one of the positive experiences from past clients of Tamar Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Jo has worked with us for more than a decade and started her administration work within the casino industry, starting off in the Front Office. Always enjoying the person to person contact, she has learned a variety of new roles since joining the team at Tamar Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Jo is mother to 2 grown up children and grandmother of 3. She enjoys spending time with friends, walking, running, cooking and relaxing at home.
Jo coordinates all our patient appointments, liaises between our doctors and midwife and manages all the surgical bookings at the LGH and Calvary St Vincent's Hospital.
